Sony Science Education Program for Children & SSTA
The National Report Presentation Meeting is around the corner. We invite you to take part!
The National Report Presentation Meeting, at which the undertakings at the two Advanced Project Awardment Schools from the previous year are featured, is coming up.
The outstanding activities at Eimei Elementary School of Chino City, Nagano Prefecture, and Izumiya Junior High School of Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, will be featured in addition to a poster session by the faculty at these schools, and a memorial lecture.
There will be much to take back for participants, such as hints for improving classes and school environments, or opportunities to meet the faculty of other schools working hard towards providing a better education. Don't miss this opportunity! We look forward to your participation.

Sony Preschool Education Program for Children
Applied Preschool Research Workshop Held!
On September 28th, 2007, an applied preschool research workshop was held at Ottachi Kindergarten in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture. Four and five year-olds were freely creating and experimenting with wind-driven cars. The three year-olds invited first and second graders from Ottachi Elementary School, as well as residents in the area and other workshop participants, as they partook in "Morimori Restaurant" activities.

"Nurturing Scientific Minds from Age 0" Seminar held!
"Nurturing Scientific Minds from Age 0" Seminar was held on Saturday, October 27th at Runbini Nursery School in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture. In spite of rainy weather from the approaching typhoon, many nursery school instructors from around Okazaki City gathered and participated in meaningful discussion.
