Young Teacher Training Workshop held
The Young Teacher Training Workshop of Sony Science Teachers Association (SSTA) was held in 5 locations across the country starting in Osaka on May 19th.
It was the first time for many of the young teachers to attend a seminar outside of their own prefectures.
Through the 1 night and 2 days workshop, the participating teachers not only learnt the basic knowledge and skills in teaching, but also had the valuable opportunity to get to know teachers from other prefectures.
Also, there were teachers who became members of SSTA through this workshop.
We hope that the teachers get to know other teachers through these activities, and in turn be able to offer exciting lessons to the as many children as possible.

Applied Preschool Research Workshop held
The Applied Preschool Research Workshop featuring the awardment project preschools of 2006 was held.
Each preschool is to conduct researches on a theme based on the topic and contents of their awarded reports.
- Midorigaoka Kindergarten (Osaka Prefecture) June 11 (Mon)
Parents of the kindergarteners had carried out an enthusiastic debate. They seemed to have made new discoveries by coming in touch with the nature that their children are usually surrounded by.
