Joint award ceremonies for prize-winning schools and preschools were held at Sony offices in each region
With the support of Sony offices throughout the country, award ceremonies were held locally at the schools that won the prizes. Joint ceremonies were held at the offices in Sendai, Kisarazu, Kouda (of Aichi prefecture), Matsue, and Tokyo, regions where they especially had many schools and preschools to win the prizes.
In each ceremony, we invited guests including members of the local education boards. In the reception party held after the ceremony, there were lively exchange of opinions among the teachers of the award-winning schools and preschools in a relaxed atmosphere.
SSTA
SSTA Visitations to 48 branches throughout the country starts
We have begun exchanging opinions directly with the SSTA teachers in the 48 branches throughout the country.
Its aim is to provide support that is more fitting to the actual condition of the region, and to convey more accurately what the foundation seeks for in the essays and what its goals are. Starting with the workshop in Fukushima on January 20th, we are visiting every one of the branches.
As of February 27th, we have visited 29 branches, and plan to have gone to all 48 by July of this year.
Group pictures taken at each branch and reports of the workshops are included in the link below.
See the fellow teachers in each region working to accomplish the same goals as you.
